Accreditation of the THM

Quality assurance requires measuring instruments which are calibrated by competent laboratories and whose characteristics can be traced back to national standards.

The vacuum laboratory of the Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen (THM) in Gießen is accredited by the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS) according to the standard DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025.

DAkkS calibration certificates are recognized in most European countries (EA-MLA signatories). See http://www.european-accreditation.org/ea-members.
